The Claussen-Simon Fund for Science & Higher Education supports exciting initiatives by teachers, staff and students at Hamburg’s colleges, universities and associated service facilities with a wide range of topics and formats. The fund gives committed and motivated university stakeholders the financial backing they need to try something new and, ideally, sustainable in regular operations.
Under the fund motto “innovative, interdisciplinary, interactive!”, the program support projects that address current topics and challenges in an innovative way and develop and sustainably implement interactive teaching formats. The aim is to consider the changing learning conditions and needs of students and to address them in specific courses. In addition, interdisciplinary and interdisciplinary concepts are required that create lasting added value for academic teaching and learning beyond a single event.
