Quarto is an open-source scientific and technical publishing system to generate articles, presentations or websites by integrating text with code in e.g., Python or R.
Git, a widely used tool in professional software development but also valuable to researchers, allows tracking changes, aiding collaboration, transparency, and project organization.
Target audience
Lecturers, teachers or teaching assistants.
Prerequisites
Beneficial, but not required:
- Basic Git skills
- Basic R, Python or Bash skills
Suggested format
2 half-day workshop with hands-on exercises, a Quarto book, and slides as learning materials.
Key learning objective
At the end of this training, participants will be able to create a Quarto book website for their learning materials (similar to this course).
